forgot to add that i am posting because he was using aimbot and probably wallhack as well.   towards the end he admits it as well.

i did not do the @@@@@@@@Teemie@@@@@@@@ in game as i just read about that and new to forums and reporting.

i am not sure with your server.  but a couple other servers i play, players can do a !calladmin playername reason in the chat and it will send a message to admins in a chat.  also they have a server list thru there website that players can go to and it will give a players last 5 or so digits of there guid and so players can also use that to report and so the player is banned thru that.

Yeah noticed the high jump server has a nice reporting system with names and GUID's. We try to keep it as simple as possible, all we really need is a conclusive demo and the rest is history.  Thank you for taking the time to report this.  Teemie is banned.

yeah no problem.  just was not sure if it was more accurate to get a guid.  for me its not all to hard cause I use steam overlay which has a webpage built in and I just go to the server list.  so then its just a matter of refreshing the page and then copy the player and guid there and then just paisting along with the demo or video.

I use demo for wallhack and then if obviously cheating like this guy, I just use my shadow play.

I am not 100% sure what the other server I play on uses, but I know they use something that they can watch demos in and it has an overlay that shows players.  so if for wallhack, they can watch with that and it will show if player is tracking others thru walls etc.

I say I am not sure, cause for all I know, they have a person who has the cheats and use while watching the demo.  I hope not as I don't agree with anyone having cheats, and was told by a person that its built into the demo player that a few have.  i am waiting on the main person who supposedly created it.  i said, if that is the case, why not share with all.  anyways, but if true and its a demo player and so cant be used while gaming themselves then i think its pretty cool.  if you guys have something similar then i don't mind doing demos.   using shadow play and then uploading is easy as well and i like cause then others can see as well.

Their GUID lookup system is probably private as I have never heard of a program like that being available to the public. Some of us look up the GUID by name the old fashioned way through the game's chat log and copy it to the game's ban file. We could also look up players by name and ban them using a web based B3 program called Echelon or by placing the ban after the cheater disconnects through the game console using B3.  Looking up the GUID by name is accurate in CoDWaW since players must create their own unique profile names.  Could be less accurate on older games like CoD4 since players can use the same names. We had issues on older games due to players that used name changer cheats but I cannot recall ever having a problem with accuracy in this regard.  I think it's probably more accurate for our admins to look up the GUID's and add them to the ban file to avoid any possible mistakes since the GUID is only copied once. And more accurate using Echelon or B3 through console since B3 adds the GUID. Important that the GUID is copied correctly without missing or adding incorrect numbers. We also make sure that we have an exact copy of the banned player's name for any future ban appeals.  The last thing we want to do is ban the wrong GUID.  A little more work on our part but that's ok, we don't mind.  It's a miracle there are players that will bother taking the time to record demos and later register on a web site to request a ban in the first place.  I would say roughly 20 out of 50,000 or more gamers will drop out of game to record a demo if they suspect that a player may be cheating. We don't want to place any unnecessary obstacles on a player that may be thinking about learning how to request a ban.

Good idea never thought about using shadow play to record cheaters something I need to try out.  Yea I'm not sure either, sounds like some kind of private demo player. Would be much easier to identify wallhacks using a program without having to think about it.  Would pay money for a demo player that could do that as long as it can't be used to cheat. I heard of other clans installing cheats to help them identify wallhacks but we don't do that here. I agree,  I'm 100% against anyone installing cheats for any reason.   Can't imagine using a wallhack to review demos since I'm used to identifying wallhacks on my own. I imagine it would throw me off using a wallhack to review a suspected player since it suggests that the suspect is using a wallhack. Plus anticheat software can detect cheats installed on your system even after they have been uninstalled.  I'm proud to say that I have never installed a cheat and would be awful to be labeled as a cheater because cheat software was detected on my system. Installing cheats to identify a cheater is a very bad idea and is not necessary.

yeah I agree with not installing cheats.  why I left a clan I was in.  I was one of the top admins and found out the clan leader installed cheats and would spy on players ingame with them on.  I did not agree and thought he should at least let everyone know what he was doing.  he would not, so I spilled the beans which led to him banning me from all there things.  which I had already left the clan and did not care to join the servers knowing someone had cheats.  there were other issues as well but that one I could not get over.  and I felt he new it was wrong as he as keeping it a secret.  the only reason I found out was he accidently uploaded a video that showed the hacks enabled and uploaded in a forum were we all could see.

at the time, it was him and another guy as founder, and they had a 3rd guy who was more senior to me.  the 3 would determine if a player was in fact using wallhacks.  so I called him out on it.

It does not take to long to record and upload.  i have a button on my keyboard with a camera on it lol.  so i press that, and it starts to record.  shadow works well for me so i just use.  then when done, i use windows movie maker and convert the file down.  and then use that to upload to youtube.

i am not a fan for cheaters at all and do try to record and get them banned.  been playing a long time.  i thought i was registered already lol.  but man it was a bit of work with the questions.  missed 2 and could not figure out why at first.  was the punkbuster and pups.  lol.  i kept spacing punk buster and did not catch that.  and pups i had the s.  but once signed up, hey hope to help more.

i understand the guid part.  those more experienced can usually figure out a name changer within a few times.  but some don't realize.  or if a player is just mimicking another.  but even if reporting guid players could still be required to report the ingame name as well.  the server i spoke of above requires that as well.

anyways, again, i am glad to help out.  if a steam group, would love an invite.  some way that could be used if an admin is on but not in the server.

cad80_99

oh and i am also glad to never have cheats.  have to many games on steam lol.  do get accused from time to time.  even skeptic to using third party software period.  try to stick to known ones like shadow play, Logitech for my mouse.  maybe obs or action player.

i also try to go thru my steam friends now and then (there is a site that helps) and delete any that have a ban on there record.

Forgot to mention sent Steam invite and noticed it was accepted. Thanks again.

cad80_99

yes thanks for both the invites.
