I think he should be unbanned if it really isn't Kumar, but if he slips up again stay banned and no more chances. I think it would be highly unfair even if it was his own poor choice to hand his account to someone else. Mistakes are fixable but they can damage reputations to.

Put him on watch-list and keep an eye on him. If he has a slip up permanently ban him and if it is Kumar than he will be fully aware of the consequences yet again.

Do both of their IP's match? If not then I'd suggest Red's idea. But "David and that other guy", you also need to know that you shouldn't have given someone your personal information. Though its a bit weird that you would make a topic now instead of when I banned you.

I swear when is this Kumar stuff gonna be over. You shouldn't have given him your account if you are not him. Please change your account details asap, your account will be in jeopardy of getting banned again. I recommend you get different friends.

That's a bit harsh 0.0, even if he tries his best there's always a chance of accidents. I got my first and only warning from church because he looked like he had a knife when he bought a grenade, and on low quality settings at a lowered resolution on windowed mode, 0.0 my golly did that look like a knife to me.

Anyhow simple accidents like maybe unintentionally killing someone while in a very confined space, got in front of you while the murderer was trying to kill you both, is it the guy with the gun's fault? I've seen this happen many times, and there is times when one intentionally breaks a rule or not, and it's easy to tell. If he really tells the truth and he is not KumarThatGuru, then give him a chance. If he IS KumarThatGuru, then give him a chance anyways, he comes with the intention to be pardoned, he has tons of playtime on the gmod server and obviously knows how things run. If he does anything funny you can simply just ban him again.

Also seriously, can you be honest? Are you or are you not KumarThatGuru? Are you or are you not sorry for whatever reason you were banned? And what other relationships do you have or don't have with KumarThatGuru.

If there really is two of you, then I'd like to know the actual reasons as of why they where both banned, and what time, also the association of what time did the DDos occur too. I want to see if anything connects. Check their IP addresses too, and see if they are local to one another.

It's possible that through your account David KumarThatGuru wanted to get some sort of revenge. Or that you are him. Or that both of you were in some way involved in the DDos attack, although its very unlikely.

KumarThatGuru with 233hours in game on GMod Murder on the FS servers, and then being banned out of a server he liked to play so much? With that much time did he reach the warning threshold? Or got banned for something ridiculous?

Actually, he didn't hit the warning threshold. KumarThatGuru was banned for disrespecting other administrators, age discriminating an admin, libeling an admin, evading a ban, rdming. What I can do since it does seem a bit harsh :/ we'll go ahead and put you on the watchlist. If you exceed 8 warnings then there will be consequences.

But here's what I don't get, The fact that ALL steam accounts have STEAM GUARD automatically enabled. So if Kumar did get into your account then he would have to go into your EMAIL address to allow himself in. That also means your email, if you use gmail they will automatically tell you there has been suspicious activity. You ignored that for 2 months. Doesn't really seem right. But we'll give you a chance. You will be put on the watchlist, if you exceed 8 warnings action will be taken, a possible temp ban.

If you get the 4 your get a day ban.
I think people will learn the first time haha.
